Dr. Craig Mayer has been a client and a good friend for many years. When he moved his practice into a beautiful new building in Lehigh Acres, he asked me if I could make a web page for him. I said, “Sure!” Within a couple of months that web page grew into a full blown website which gives Dr. Mayer’s current and potential patients easy access to important information related to their dental care.
I can tell you, this is where you want to go for the very best dental healthcare!
Here’s a bit of background information from craigmayer.com:
Dr. Mayer was born in North Dakota and was the oldest of four children. At age ten, his family moved to Edina Minnesota where he graduated from Edina High School in 1967. He attended undergraduate college at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa before matriculating at Northwestern Dental School in Chicago. Dr. Mayer graduated from Northwestern University in 1975, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and high honors. This fulfilled his childhood dream, since the age of nine, of wanting to be a dentist.
After graduating from Northwestern Dental School, he moved back to Minneapolis where he practiced in the Medical Arts Building for twelve years. Dr. Mayer, along with his wife Patti and their two children, Michelle and Natalie, moved to Fort Myers in December of 1986. He started practicing in Lehigh Acres in 1987 at 60 Westminster Street. In December, 2005, he moved to his new building and current location at 105 Connecticut Road.
Dr. Mayer has been married to Patti since 1978. Patti returned to college after being a teacher for 22 years. She graduated from Edison College Dental Hygiene School with a degree in Dental Assisting. Later she earned her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and currently works for Dr. Mayer as a part time chair-side assistant.
